Some telephone calls are more than an interruption; they are obscene or
harassing. Call Trace allows you to trace a phone call after you hang up.
The information is held at the telephone company and can be provided to a
law enforcement agency only.

To Trace a Call:
|
- Immediately after receiving the harassing call, hang up the phone.
- Pick up the phone and listen for the dial tone.
- Press *57, then listen for the tone or announcement.
- The phone number will be printed at the telephone company office.
- Call the next business day if you wish to have the call investigated further. The telephone company may release the telephone number to law enforcement only.

Note: You must activate Call Trace immediatly after you hang up.
If you receive another call before tracing, Call Trace will not pick
up the correct number.
