IMPORTANT DSL Service Information

- If you have any trouble accessing the Internet - always try to "power cycle" your modem before calling for technical support. (Power Cycle means to shut off your modem, wait approximately 10-15 seconds, then turn the modem back on by the power button in the back.)
- FairPoint will replace any defective modems, so long as the defect is not caused by customer negligence or intentionally harmful activity. Parts replacement will be handled via mail service unless customer is covered under FairPoint's Network Care service. Additional hubs and filters are available for a small fee.
- Network Care provides peace of mind for our customers before they encounter a problem with their Internet connection. Customers who are covered under our Network Care plan receive on-premise services including diagnostics and exchange of the DSL modem (if it is determined that the modem is the problem) with no per hour service call charges - up to $100 savings in truck roll or labor charges. - If the customer deactivates DSL service for any reason, he must return the modem within 15 days. If the customer fails to return the modem within 15 days, FairPoint will bill the customer $99.00. View the modem return instructions for more information.
